Driffield Silver Band have decided that they will postpone returning to rehearsals until at least January 2021, returning once any restrictions allow. DSB Returning to Rehearsals. Change to planned start date.
Due to the latest announcement from the Prime Minister on Weds 9 September 20, DSB have postponed returning to rehearsals on Friday 11 September 20. We are hoping for a further announcement on Monday 14 September that will still allow us to start back in the very near future.

Corona Virus update
Driffield Silver Band is following the Government’s latest advice and has decided to cancel rehearsals for the immediate near future.

Joan Gledhill’s Memorial Concert
Shortly after the funeral of Joan Gledhill in May 2019, Driffield Silver Band was approached by a well known resident of Nafferton who gave the Band a generous donation with a request that the Band would organise a Concert in Joan’s memory sometime in 2020. As many of you know, Joan was a big supporter of the Band.
The Band have got this commitment well in hand and it is planned for Saturday Evening 23rd May 2020 at 7:30pm. The concert will be held at the Rix Pavilion on Driffield Showground. Entry and parking will be free, however at the end of the concert, donations will be gratefully received which will be shared between cancer charities.
Everybody will be welcome and hope to see you there.

Driffield Silver Band has moved from Driffield to rehearse in Nafferton Village Hall on Fridays between 19:30 and 21:30. If you are passing and would like to drop in just to listen to us rehearsing please do. you will be made most welcome.
